at 735pm, Walk In soundtrack plays, people just kept streaming in through the white gate of Fort Canning till around 8pm.
this was one of the most encouraging sights for me!
the rest of the night was simply AWESOME!
singing, dancing and lifting up of hands under the breezy sky.
JUMP would not have been possible without the help of these people...
all-time fav co- stage manager, mr bao. thanks for agreeing to help me out and you led excellently and detailedly at the backstage.
the crew team under the white hut:
steven, roy, jolene, jiayi, ame and the rest of sound team.
justin, hongyao, priscilla, huiying, aloy and mm team.
JX, esmond, max, you guys rocks with the lights!!!
6 guys who stayed overnight to look after the equipment on thursday: jeremy, kaixiang, huiyang, sathya and some tertiary guys too.
dasmond, eevoon and their strong team of 40+ ushers helped in ushering and directing the people around the place.
our super enthu singers on stage:
shirls, leveeh, gwen, daixuan, joanne, huili, jeremy, ron and yushan. they were so drenched in joy!
ruiz who led the symphonic band courageously. kudos to our first ever symphonic band! you guys rocks big time.
xie xie to my pals- gerald, eugene, davin, esmond plus roy to help simon to transport and unload the instruments and goodie stuffs back to nexus.
many thanks to our musicians: gerald, davin, rayson, geoffery, jason, veron, kaiwen, simon, eugene and yihui. they poured in countless hours of practices.
Big thanks to germaine, ziying, philothea and their teams for the image, fundraising stalls and publicity efforts.
how can we forget the white jumpers gang!
thanks to Jacq and her dance team who practiced hard and possess such excellent and joyful spirit whenever i talk to them.
and of course, as you blog surf around, many thanks to the photographers who captured great shots for sweet memories.
lastly, i'm so grateful towards pastor Law, Pat and Nel's leadership & guidance. many thanks to Daniel too, who clocked in wee hours of smses to tie up loose ends for the event. all three of them worked super hard as well.

pre-JUMP

after soaking myself in the JUMP P&W songs for the past few days, i switched to Naruto tunes this morning on my way to work.
Naruto tunes are still my favorite when i need that kind of fighting fighting spirit to rise within me.
for Naruto fans out there, you'll be familiar with tunes like Haruka Kanata, The Raising Fighting Spirit, Sarutobi and the 5th Fight.
i'm attracted to Naruto because of its fighting spirit and determination to overcome any obstacles or hardships.
While listening, i was thinking that if i can be attracted to anime series like Naruto, wouldn't it be great if anime series can feature lives of King David or Queen Esther?
i will, too, be very captivated by the heroic stories of these great men and women as told in the bible.
i believe, soon, there will be talented people who will rise to draw and cartoonise bible characters into the world of manga and anime. exciting~

the battle is the Lord's...

learning is a joy

i do not come from top schools on local grounds, neither top schools from overseas.

PAP Kindergarten.
Xinmin Primary.
Deyi Secondary.
Ngee Ann Poly.
SIM-RMIT.

i came from there.

learning is not just for the wise.
it is for all who have a keen heart to know and learn,
and learning never stops!

now i understand why Prov 3:13 says "...Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding..."

i am very happy whenever i learnt something new.

to obtain wisdom is the greatest treasure, that also include knowing and receiving the salvation! heehee

5 hours

met up with shirls yesterday and we just chatted from 630pm to 1130pm, until Roy came to fetch us back. *thanks roy!* it was such a great great time spent with shirls. many times, i always marveled at how she live her life. i often to liken her life to the life of a wanderer. i feel strongly deep down that singapore is one of the many stops in her life. *winks*
oh, i borrowed a book back from her too.

we kinda made 3 pacts at the end of the day:
a) if she come across any books that would be helpful for me and the ministry, just buy them!
no need to ask me if i want. she can help me make the purchase first.
i am so desperate for greater learning and deeper growth!
b) she can move me anytime, anywhere!
we kept each other accountable, that if and when the church need us to do anything, anywhere, we'll move our butts there. haha!
c) our dinner date in sep with 1 hot local dude + 2 hot overseas dudes.
hohohohoho!!! time for more learning and visioning!

and one thing i wont forget for the night:
be patient.
for patience will bring the faithful ones to see the promised land.
for patience is very much needed in perservering forward.
for patience reflects the true heart of a Hope.
