was so blessed by pastor Christie's sermon during the weekend. she shared a fashion tip too! Colossians 3: 12, "...clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience." how often, we tend to focus on beautifying ourselves with fashion clothes and accessories, little did we pay attention to decorate our inner being, our character. our character is the most important thing to work on, because God looks at the inward attitudes than the outward appearance. soon to touch 24, it's very normal for a young lady to look nice and pretty, to go shopping on street for clothes and accessories. yet, i was reminded that i should focus more on working on my character- building.
to fellow young ladies out there, its definately okay to dress up presentably on the outside, yet, work on the more important one - continue to work on your inner beauty - building of your character. inner beauty will be something your future someone will be attracted to next time too! hoho! :)
